Anyone with an iTouch out there that dares to try?
Update!

In response to the comments posted and the donations receive (thanks!) we made some changes, version 1.1 is available for download!
New features are:
- Mute sound button
- Sound volume control (notice this set the global system sound)
- Corresponding string is highlighted

the guitar tuner works really nice on my 1.0.2 iphone.
the continuous sound is great, but i would suggest to provide the option to mute it with a second tap. is this possible in a further version?
thank you very much,
segaphone :)
I am very grateful for this application - I have been waiting for it. A donation is coming. Also, I echo the need for a way to stop the tone without exiting the app’.
We will add a stop silent button today.
As promised, the update is available.
When I downloaded this I was really hoping that it would be a chromatic tuner based on microphone input.
THAT would be a HUGELY SUCCESSFUL application if you guys made that. I’d even be willing to do the UI design pro bono.
Currently its far too quiet to actually use. I’m running 1.1.2. Hopefully you guys are interested in developing a chromatic tuner. Thanks for the work.

As a Musician i find this app needs to be, one octave up in pitch.

Hi. I installed this app on my iPhone yesterday. It worked fine for some minutes, but when i than pressed the G button the volume increased and the pitch became wrong too. I didnt manage to turn down the volume on the phone fast enough so my iPhone speakers are now destroyed.
Anybody else got the same problem?
Works fine here on 3 iPhone’s, nice interface, cool icon. Donation on its way. Thanks.
When playing sine waves, you need to ramp gradually…otherwise you get the pop that is in your program. Always start off with a sine wave at phase zero so that the initial amp is 0. Also, increase the volume from zero to full over a period of .1 sec, maybe less. Do the reverse when it’s time to stop playing the note. This will prevent pops.
it would be perfect if I had the option to listen to the sound continuasly.. That it did not stop every 5 secs so I have to lift my hands from my guitar strings back to the phone every 5 secs… Thanks 4 the great apps though.
