iPhone Firmware 1.1.3 compatibility
We tested all applications under firmware 1.1.3 and did not encounter any problems. This means that the applications support the entire firmware range from 1.0.2 to 1.1.3!
If you do run into troubles please post here.
UPDATE: it depends on how you installed 1.1.3, it seems many have only the ‘mobile’ user and no longer ‘root’. We will quickly update the applications to reflect the changes, the Go and Chess games are iPhone firmware 1.1.3 ready.
Please report success/failure on the iPod Touch.

I’m trying to use your screenshot utility with a jb 1.1.3 iphone, and i set it all up but there are no buttons >.> I don’t know what to do.
Same for me. Installed screenshot 1.3.0.
When starting and enabling it, there are no floating buttons. Neither on the SpringBoard nor in started applications.
There is however a screenshot process running as user root:
210 ?? Ss 0:00.33 /usr/bin/screenshot/screenshot
When starting the application the Save Path shortly points to /var/root/Media/DCIM/100Apple (which doesn’t exist on 1.1.3 anymore) then is reset to /tmp.
Setting it to /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100Apple is always redirected to /tmp when it’s restarted.
In the Help of Screenshot it’s states:
3. Bugs
This version has a debug option, if you switch it ON the application will report 3 values and the mode.
How do I switch the debug option ON?
OK, that must be the problem. On the 1.1.3 phones we have root still exists…
Updates coming soon!
I found another issue, which turned out to be the reason for my draining battery problem:
since my first “Enabling” of screenshot, the /usr/bin/screenshot/screenshot was restarted everytime I rebooted iPhone, even when I disabled it again!
I noticed by having a look at my process list.
The only method of fully getting rid of this process was to completely uninstall Screenshot again.
I hope my remarks help you in finding the source of the problem soon :)
I can confirm Screenshot is not working under 113, also I hope you made a change for screenshots to look better (as in erica’s utilities command) in contrast with the low-def I used to get on 112…thanks 4 the hard work, already donated!
peace!
Hello,
I see from your web site (http://robota.nl/products/iPhone%20Screenshot.html) that ScreenShot 1.2.1 is not compatible with 1.3.1. This explains the instability that I have observed. That’s too bad since I found it very useful under 1.2.1. Sadly, I have deleted it.
As the versions, number and variety of iPhone and iPod touch apps increases, it is quickly becoming quite difficult to understand what works and where. Perhaps a meta data notation system will evolve that causes an installer to show only those apps and data that their particular device will support.
Another area of concern is understanding how disk space is allocated on the iPhone and iPod touch. Itunes tells me that I have 5.2 GB of free space yet ScreenShot, Installer and other apps are telling me that I’m short on disk space. Whom should I believe?
Would like to know if your main website can reflect the same information as listed here about the fact that it is workable with 1.1.3 version now. Did anyone encounter any problems whatsover? Also, will it work with iPod Touch as well?
Any development towards fixing this problem? I’d love to be able to take a screenshot.
Please update “dock.app” so that the screenshot works again. It is the best application out there (and the only one that properly puts the files in the iphone photo roll…). Also: please allow us to move the location of the dock “sunburst”. The lower right corner is too crowded with other stuff, I’d personally like to be able to move to the upper right corner (even better would be to allow the user to decide where to put it…). THANKS AGAIN FOR THE WONDERFUL WORK!!!
I tried to install iPhone 1.7 from repository but I get a message with an information like incompatible format or bad URL.
How to get an iPhone version compatible with 2.2 firmware version?
Thanks
