iPhone Chess - update to version 1.4
The Chess application has been updated, again bugs have been fixed. It seems like all reported bugs are related to the problem with the selection, this part has completely rewritten.
Quite some new features are added to the application:
- load games as PGN
- save games as PGN
- full size board
- email saved games
- show last move
To make sure you can do the same tests as we did we included same sample games. For example the game castlebqs stands for ‘castle black queen side’ and allows you to test the move.
If you have a problem please email the game to support_AT_robota.nl with a brief description.
Thank you to all that donated for the Chess game, if you like the game consider the same.
Please report problems here.

The home button should always bring you back to the springboard within one minute.

iGo - iPhone GO application upcoming
We are currently implementing the GNU Go application for the iPhone and hope to release this very soon.
One problem with game development is that you often need to play the game to see if features work or bugs are fixed. This takes a lot of time so it would be nice if you would help, in this case we cannot win :) and see what happens.
Is there anyone that likes to help testing? If so, please post here and we will make a pre-release available.
iPhone Chess 1.3 released
A new version of the chess application is available. It now features sound, castle and piece promotion.
Please report problems/bugs. Next release will be in the new year featuring a larger board and better level handling.
Have fun!
We would like to thank everybody for the suggestions, comments, testing and donations!
iPhone Chess now handles En-Passent properly, please test and report.
iPhone iSpit 1.3 released
The iSpit application had some improvements. One major improvement is the template that no longer uses the pre formatted text but a table. This greatly improves the browsing experience if you use iSpit to browse using Safari on your iPhone. A double tab on the name column now makes the browser zoom nicely.
As an extra, if you would like to make your own templates you can request a special url:
http://<ip of your iphone>/robota_reload
to reload the templates. It is no longer required to restart the server.
iPhone Chess 1.0.2 released
Please report success/failure/firmware/ipod or iphone.
Little Christmas gift to the iPhone community.
Chess program based on the powerful GNU Chess engine. Works very much like the XBoard or the WinBoard application
If you want you can add chess books (25 MB) to the application directory. See the official GNU Chess site for more information.
Anyone that would like to create some graphics (board or pieces)? Please look in the /Applications/Chess.app/skin folder for some samples.
